This was a movie I was really looking forward to, probably more than any other movie of 2015 so I thought it would be good as my first review to post, I hadn’t seen any trailers for this I had only heard a review (and an awesome one) from Horror Movie Podcast so it was thanks to those guys that i was really excited to watch this.

Cast: Maika Monroe, Keir Gilchrist, Olivia Luccardi, Lili Sepe, Jake Weary
Director: David Robert Mitchell
Plot: A young girl, Jay(Maika Monroe) gets involved in a sexual encounter with a guy she is dating only to find out he has passed on a curse to her where a supernatural force/monster will follow and hunt her down unless she passes on the curse to someone else.
This movie had me hooked from start to finish! It had the main ingredient of which I love in horror movies, suspense, I’ve missed suspense in recent horror movies as most of them these days follow it with cheap jump scares or unnecessary gore but this done it perfectly.
The monster in this movie works so well, its slow movement but constantly coming after its victims, its able to take the form of any human, whether its someone you know or a total stranger which is what freaked me out the most about it. Not only does it give you the fear of it coming after you it also gives you paranoia that it could be anyone around you.
I highly recommend this to all horror fans and advise you watch it alone to avoid any distractions and to get the full effect of the suspense, I give this a 9/10 rating and say you should definitely buy this movie.
